Cark Manor, the Cumbria Hotel, underwent a large-scale renovation in 2020. The newly refurbished, luxury manor house hotel offers guests a premium experience from where they sleep, to what they eat, and most importantly (for us!) what they drink! With an emphasis on a prestige wine list, Cark Manor wanted an optimal wine storage solution, thus came to Sorrells.
The Oak wine cellar provides storage for the manor house’ wine collection. The bespoke space features Transtherm wine cabinets for a temperature-controlled space for fine wine as well as bespoke racking for long term storage. By working with the hotel, we were able to understand their requirements for wine storage and build a unique solution.
