Bespoke Wine Cellars UK: A Cotswold Masterpiece by Sorrells Custom Wine Rooms

Project Overview

At Sorrells, we take immense pride in crafting bespoke wine cellars in the UK that not only cater to your wine storage needs but also blend seamlessly with your home’s architecture and style. One of our latest projects situated in a private property in the picturesque Cotswolds region epitomises this.

Design Details

Staying true to the Cotswold style and the client’s wish for a traditional feel, we designed the wine room from Ash. The external framework and door feature ‘Fired Earth Modernest White,’ while the interior shines in natural Ash with an oil finish. This choice ensures a classic look that harmonises with the overall home interiors.

Special Features

Lighting plays a pivotal role in any wine room. We’ve incorporated soft lighting in the wall to accentuate the bottles, elevating the visual appeal. The wine room has the capacity for 313 standard bottles and includes 8 magnum displays. Central drawers have been added for storing original boxes of wine.

Extra Amenities

What sets this project apart are the thoughtful additions that make it more than just a storage space. We have included shelving for wine accessories and even carved out a small bar space within the wine room. This allows for drinks preparation, making the wine room an integral part of the social kitchen environment.

For anyone in search of bespoke wine cellars in the UK, this Cotswold project serves as an excellent case study on how Sorrells delivers both functionality and style.
