10 Cases London

10 Cases London requested Sorrells to design and manufacture an aesthetically pleasing wine storage space within their private dining room. The space created offers superb storage, with the addition of a tasting table. The purpose of the tasting table is for hosting and sampling the contents stored within the room. The space is for both viewing purposes and also for the regular use of the restaurant.

Further Project Information

Opened in 2011 by Will Palmer and Ian Campbell, 10 Cases Bistrot a Vin revolutionised the London wine scene with its ever-changing, fairly priced wine list. Committed to variety and quality, the restaurant offers 10 white and 10 red wines, all available by the glass, carafe, or bottle. Their food menu is equally dynamic and seasonal, featuring wine-friendly dishes. With a common passion for wine, 10 Cases turned to Sorrells to help find a solution to their wine storage. With an ever growing customer base, and the expansion into the wine shop next door, storage was becoming ever more required.

Our project for 10 Cases involved creating a wine room in the restaurant’s basement, adjacent to the private dining area. Visible through floor-to-ceiling glass panels, the wine room adds an element of theatre to the dining experience. Designed to hold over 2,000 bottles, the space serves dual purposes: it’s both a practical storage area and a stunning visual feature. In addition to the racks, we included a tasting table to facilitate hosting and sampling events, giving patrons the opportunity to explore the restaurant’s extensive wine collection in a more intimate setting.

By incorporating a design that meets storage needs while acting as a conversation piece, we’ve helped 10 Cases create a space that aligns perfectly with their commitment to offering a unique and immersive dining experience.
