We are proud to hold the title of being ‘British Designed & Manufactured’. The wine room created is done so by a team of dedicated and skilled tradespeople. Whether it be the design team or joiners, every element of a Sorrells wine room has been well thought out and expertly executed.
From our 38,600 sqft, UK based factory, we are able to design, deliver and install internationally to a global market.
To show our clients the process of creation, we invite them for a factory tour. Every element of design can be seen during the tour, from the office to the factory floor. Gaining an understanding to our process gives clients a further appreciation for the end product.
The Sorrells factory has a dedicated team, of which many have been working for the company for the longevity of their careers.
At Sorrells, all racking and framework is made in our Essex based factory. Being able to manufacture in house is a statement that we are immensely proud of. The majority of the factory is dedicated to joinery and the creation of our wine racks and wooden framework. The latest addition to Sorrells manufacturing is metal work, thanks to a newly developed department. Being able to offer clients the option of metal doors or framework for their wine cellar is a great addition. Each element of metal work is cut and finished in house to the same exacting standard as our woodwork.
The Virtual Reality room is a space to physically step into a prospective wine room. The interactive, informative tool lets users gain a true understanding of what their potential wine room could look like, and how the mechanisms within it will work. By being able to virtually step into the design and get a better visual understanding, clients can make an informed decision before pressing go on the manufacturing process. VR is a service all clients can receive.
